More abstract playing

Trying to relieve some stress today. They started digging test holes for the septic. Our soil does not drain so that means a big mound. This is going to be a long process. Basically they never should have put septic systems in this area due to the clay soil. There are 17 steps to replacing a septic in our town and we are on step 1. Tomorrow when the town witness comes we will be on step 2. There is a long way to go.

I used my fragmenting app on my ipad and fragmented the green abstract pixilated image. I also used some effects in Photoshop.

This was the original image.

Here are the variations:

Wonder what E will say about these. The class is nearly over and has been a great deal of fun. I basically took it to have a distraction from this septic business. It has helped.

Thanks for reading. Should I keep any of these designs?

  1. I like the grayscale one. It has the most depth to it, very 3-d and the angle adds to the illusion of floating. The others seem to have too much going on, would need some altering either in number of colors or number of shapes to keep from confusing the eye...imho!

  2. I like the top two, but then I always like the ones that EB rejects, so take that worth a grain of salt. :-)
