All over the place

Ornament 2016
This year I was all over the place in terms of deciding what to make for the yearly ornament for my daughter. This is a tradition that I started when she was born in 1989 and have continued each year ever since.

I went back and forth between Dr Who and Star Wars. Then I saw a cute Yoda ornament online. Now I can't find the place where I saw it.

I got out my felt and saw that I had very little to choose from. After finishing the ornament yesterday I found another box of felt in my closet! Figures. Well at least I will know that for next year.

If you want to see the other ornaments that I made click on the cloth ornament tag at the top of the page.

Have a great Christmas.

  1. What a great tradition and a fantastic ornament! I'm just like you with finding things right after I actually need them.

  2. Love it! And I too have been doing a lot of finding after the fact. I long for the days when I knew exactly where every piece of fabric, spool of thread, tool etc could be found. Now I've added sketching and art journaling with their specific supplies and the "I know I have ___ but where is it" syndrome has gotten worse! By next Christmas I'm guessing that newly unearthed supply of felt will have become elusive again - lol.
