Famous statues
Getting to see the Mona Lisa up close was nearly impossible. So my daughter took a photo of the crowd taking a photo of the painting! It seems silly to take a photo of a famous painting. I guess people just want to prove that they were there.
We spent a lot of time looking at the Egyptian art.
Lots of amazing ceilings in the Louvre. 
How do you carve such detail out of marble?
Statues outside of the Louvre that we got to look at while we ate a delicious baguette sandwich for lunch. It was a rainy day…the only rainy day we had for the entire trip.

Great photos. Yes the Mona Lisa was hard to see. Sad that it is covered I. Plexiglass or something. I took pictures of old platters/plates that had fabulous colors. It inspired one of my color choices for a quilt.
