Organza letters
I printed out the letters on organza. Before printing them I faded them a bit and lowered the contrast.
I am still not sure if this is what I need to do. I still wonder from the comments that Sheila made if I should make the letters more regular. Or maybe I should just go with this? What do you think?

I think we're back to the question of mood. I like this faded version of lettering on the organza much better and the overall feel the irregular letters give is one of energy - not exactly chaos but certainly not the orderliness of my suggestions. What kind of connection to the moon do you want to portray? If calm and ethereal is your intention, this is not it. I think I rather like it and as long as you have those extras of this print, I say do it. If in the end you are not happy, then try another version.
ReplyDeleteSheila, thanks again for your comments. Calm and ethereal is not what I am going for. Our connection to the moon over time has been violent to somewhat chaotic. So I guess I will go with what I have at this point. Our next challenge is rhythm. I could go with calm for that one!
