We finally made it!!!

We closed on the house we were selling this past Wednesday. The septic work finally got done and approved by the health department.  I can't figure out how to add photos from my iPad or I would show you the mess it made in the yard. We are now living with my MIL and computer is not hooked up.

We will see our new house on August 7 and be able to move in on August 13. The end is near. Or should I say the new beginning is near? We are excited.

I have been doing a lot of walking and reading, but only thinking about quilting. Once I get settled in the new house I will work on canal house quilt. It has been calling my name lately.

Thanks for reading.

  3. Whoo hoo! Less than a month and you'll be in your new place. Do you have to fix the lawn at the old one?

  4. The lawn is already fixed. You have to do that to pass the inspection by soil conservation. It is part of the $35000 cost.

  5. Yeah! Woot, Woot! Hurrah! I'm so happy for you to be finished with your old house. I'm sure there are so many memories from your time there but how nice to be able to move on to the next stage. Yikes, I guess the price information is good to keep in my mind so we take good care of our septic system. Was the issues more a matter of age or ??

  6. I keep checking back but no posts. I can't remember whether you said you have much internet connectivity where you are staying. Or maybe it is no sewing space. Know you are in my thoughts and hopefully the move in comes soon and is easy. (HA! When is a move ever easy!)
