Did you think I dropped off the face of the Earth?

 I’ve been busy stressing over the ornaments that I’ve been working on for our daughter. I’m making the 3 witches from the movie Hocus Pocus. This movie was filmed in Salem, Massachusetts where they live.

The heads were especially stressful. Here’s my head graveyard of failed heads. Some of the failed heads were too small. I did use them to test out hair making. So they did serve a purpose. The hair on 2 of them was wool felted. The third one is yarn.  I had to paint dye the yarn yellow since all I had was white. 

Here’s the finished witches. This project was a lot harder than I thought it would be. They are about 7 inches tall. The faces are about an inch and was challenging to draw. At any rate they are done.

I’m going to make an ornament of their black cat that they adopted this year. Here’s the pattern.

I also made an ornament to go into a gift bag for a senior citizen in a local care home. Here’s that ornament.
