I have started quilting the Halloween quilt. At this point I’m just stitching around everything until I figure out what other quilting I’m going to do. I want to get the basic quilting done first to stabilize the quilt. It’s almost like quilting in the ditch for a traditional pieced quilt.
Well things just keep happening. Turns out we have to replace our furnace because the heat exchanger was leaking. It’s happening this morning and of course it’s cold. Should be a fun and expensive day.
Then last night a wheel fell off of our lower dishwasher rack. That’s an easy fix at least.
Then our nephew is in the hospital and after lots of tests he was diagnosed with lupus.
Then…..what’s next?
Thanks for reading.
Chris

Sorry to hear about your woes, Chris--hope they will come and fix your furnace PDQ!!! Your stabilizing quilting is a great idea...will you hand quilt the rest or continue with machine work? I often do both...
