The art for the Images exhibition is in. You can see my plastic piece among all the fine art. We will be away so I won’t be attending the award ceremony. I would not be winning an award anyways. The awards are for best in show, best painting, best photo, best pastel, best teen work, and 3 merit awards. The only ones I would qualify for are the merit awards. Given the art that’s in the show it’s pretty unlikely that I would win a merit award.

There are some amazing pieces of fine art in the exhibit. I’m thrilled that my outer limits piece was able to get into the show.
I’ve been stitching down the facing on the Point of No Return Halloween quilt. I’ve got the long sides done and need to do the top and bottom. Then I have to put on the sleeves and label. Like many of you I hate the finishing details. They are necessary, but not fun.
