My exhibit at the local art museum has now concluded. I’m very pleased with the results. It was so much fun discussing my work with people. I was able to sell 4 quilts. I decided to donate one for the museum’s fund raising event that happened yesterday. Someone won the window quilt in a raffle. I heard they were thrilled to win it. So now 5 quilts are going to new homes. The circle quilt and the old cellar door have come home with me.
Next week I have to drop off my Halloween quilt entitled “Point of no Return” for the art alliance member show. I’m pleased with how it came out.

ReplyDeleteCongratulations! Though, truth be told, I'm not surprised that you sold those lovely pieces. Their themes were sure to tug at someone's memory, someone's heartstrings. I find that's what usually provokes a buyer...they're touched by what's expressed.
