Lesson 2...using triangles

One of the points to lesson 2 of the mod improv class is to create a quilt where the blocks "float" against the background. I had a lot of half square triangle blocks from a quilt that I stopped making back in 2015. It was going to be king sized and I decided I did not like it.

Here is some of that quilt....

I did use some of the blocks to make a large bag to lug around a quilt that I am hand quilting.

I decided to use some of the half square triangle blocks for lesson 2.
