I was looking for a better photo of the arch like structure in my quilt design. I couldn't find any. I asked my daughter what building it was. She thought it was near Copley square in Boston. She looked into it further by doing a reverse image look up and it turns out it's in Pittsburgh! That means the skyscrapers on the left are also part of the same complex and are also in Pittsburgh. Well that's not what I wanted to hear. Goes to show you that even if you do a search for Boston buildings online you might get things that are not in Boston.
So I decided to keep the skyscrapers since they look like they could be Boston skyscrapers and incorporate a different arch that's actually in Boston. Plus they were lots of work and taking them out and starting over would be painful.
I have incorporated an arch that's near where my daughter's boyfriend proposed to her.
I have pretty much finished the new arch and will be working on the buildings below the arch next. Those are definitely in Boston on Franklin Street.
