Only one building done this week

At this rate I'll be done with this quilt a year from now!

In the photo you can see potential fabrics for the next 2 buildings. The small pieces of light purple you see on the multi color batik fabric near the center and right below the arch are simulating windows for that building. This is how I try out potential fabrics. I cut some small pieces of fabric and see how they look on the building fabric.

Also the opening in the arch will probably have the sky fabric inserted into it. I just roughly cut a piece. I think when I do it for real it needs to be a bit more yellow to match the sky at that level.
