First place!!!

I won first place in the recycle show at my local art alliance for my piece entitled “From the Inner Mind to the Outer Limits.” The prize is $150. I knew ahead of time that I had won something, but assumed it would be honorable mention. It was such a thrill to win first place!

Here’s the piece that’s made with plastic bags. The pieces are glued in place and then it’s quilted on a Pellon stabilizer and framed.
